Obituary for Adelaide Yvonne Aulich

Rush Springs: Adelaide Yvonne Aulich, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 in Rush Springs.

No services are planned at this time. Burial will be planned at a later date, in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Adelaide was born Thursday, September 30, 1942 in Charleston, WV, to James and Catherine (Sturm) Emory. She was a graduate of Paxon High School and also attended Stevens College. Prior to moving to Rush Springs in 1995, Adelaide lived in Jacksonville, FL. She married the love of her life, William "Bill" H. Aulich, September 23, 1967 at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville. Adelaide and Bill celebrated more than 57 wonderful years of marriage. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rush Springs. Adelaide was an Order of the Eastern Star. She also studied meds and become a Certified Nurses Assistant. Adelaide enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. She loved her family and loved spending time with them.

Survivors include her husband, Bill, of the home; 2 sons, William Aulich, III of Baton Rouge, LA, and Michael Aulich and wife Sherine of Wichita Falls, TX; daughter, Mary Paddlety and husband Milton of Rush Springs; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Jamie Lou Bennett of Aurora, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Adelaide was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Emery.
