Marlow: Albert Jefferson "Jeff" Blount, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in Marlow.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30, Friday, May 14, 2021, at the Marlow Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Jeff was born Sunday, August 14, 1932 in Seiling, to Streeter and Ilvarena (Burns) Blount. He married the love of his life, Nettie Davis, October 30, 1954 in Clayton NM., and they celebrated 66 years of marriage. Jeff had lived in Marlow for the last 21 years. He resided in Colorado previously, and worked on the road and bridge crew for Baca County. Jeff also served as a police officer for 6 years, and worked for the Game and Fish Dept in Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and being outdoors. Most importantly, Jeff loved his family and loved spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife of the home, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Johnny Lee Blount, sister, Irene Blount, and 3 brothers, Clifford Blount, Oscar Blount, and James Blount.
