I have not seen Uncle Shorty for some time, but each time I saw him, he would always welcome me with open arms, a huge hug, and talk like we saw each other every day. I loved talking to him, he sounded like my dad. My dad died while I lived in CA, after returning from Oklahoma , I remember on several occasions Uncle Shorty would call me, just to talk , to check on me, his calls would always comfort me. I remember all the good times listening to Uncle Shorty singing and playing his guitar, such a talented uncle, he will be missed here on earth, but Heaven will welcome a new choir member.
