Rush Springs: Alma Jewel Puckett, departed this life on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Chickasha at the age of 91.

At the families request no services are scheduled at this time. Cremation has taken place . All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Alma was born Saturday, February 12, 1927 in Robert Lee, TX, to J. Tom and Pearl (Stewart) Duncan. She lived in Mission, Texas for many years and attended school at various schools in Texas. She worked as a waitress for many years and loved taking care of everyone. Alma married Hubert Elikins in Robert Lee, Texas on February 12, 1945. They were married for 20 years before his passing on February 4, 1966. She later married Jack Glen Puckett in Coleman, Texas on June 25, 1966. They were married 19 years before his passing on March 31, 1986. Alma loved to travel and listening to music. She was a family woman that loved being with her family and friends. She always enjoyed a good joke and loved cutting up with everyone. Alma attended the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs.

Survivors include, her step son, Jack Glen Puckett, Jr. of MO, 3 grandchildren, David Elikins of TX, Hubert Elikins of TX, Joette Jean Griffin of GA, a niece, Pearl Ann Treadaway and husband Chester of Rush Springs, and a nephew, Clifton Creech and wife Carolyn of Rush Springs. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews who loved their auntie dearly.

Along with her 2 husbands, Alma was preceded in death by a son, H.E. Elikins, her parents, a brother, J.T. Duncan, and a sister, Ida Ruth Ditmore.
