Duncan: Antonio Moreno Carnavale, 80, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Rosary will be Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 6:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marlow. Mass will be held Thursday, July 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Marlow with Father Peter Jandaczeck and Mark Gildon officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Stephens County Honor Guard. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Antonio was born Thursday, July 18, 1940 in San Antonio, TX, to Antonio R. and Consuelo (Moreno) Carnavale. He had lived in the Duncan area since 1987 and had previously lived in the Snyder and Walters. He graduated from San Antonio High School. Antonio married his loving wife, Darla Kay Palmer in Wichita Falls, Texas on February 8, 1980; they were married for 40 years before his passing. Antonio worked as a lineman after serving in the United States Airforce. He enjoyed fishing and watching westerns especially John Wayne. Antonio was a family man that loved his family dearly. He loved to take care of his yard and his pickup. He was a member of the Saint John Birchman Church in San Antonio.
Survivors include, his wife, Darla Kay Carnavale of Duncan, 2 sons, Jack Turner of Tulsa, Antonio Carnavale and wife Sandra of San Antonio, 7 daughters, Sheila Brock and husband Lyndon of Empire, Cindy Smith and husband Elden of Duncan, Tracy Guzman and husband Arthur of San Antonio, Denise Carnavale of San Antonio, Consuelo Corona and husband Eduardo of San Antonio, Deidra Carnavale of San Antonio, Deborah Reynolds of Wichita Falls, 17 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
Antonio was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be: his sons and grandsons.
