Obituary for Audrey Sue Shearer
Marlow: Audrey Sue Waller Shearer, 79, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Marlow.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Doyle Sharp officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Visitation will be at Callaway-Smith-Cobb in Marlow, on Tuesday, February 8, 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Wednesday, February 9, 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM, and Thursday, February 10, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Audrey was born Tuesday, June 30, 1942 in Mount Vernon, IL, to Buddie Harold and Esther Lucille (Gifford) Jones. She was a 1960 graduate and drum major of Marlow High School. She had lived in Marlow for the last 57 years. Audrey married Coy Leo Daniel Waller in OKC, on September 16, 1960. She and Coy celebrated 17 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on November 16, 1977. Audrey later married Norman Shearer on January 7, 1982, in Marlow. She and Norman enjoyed more than 11 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in April of 1993. Audrey was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an active in the United Methodist Women, and was the church secretary for 29 years, and the treasurer from 1992-2018. She loved the Lord and her family more than anything else. Audrey will be missed by all.
Survivors include 3 sons, Ketih Waller and Karoline Richards of Lawton, Jerry Waller of Marlow, and Darrell Waller and wife Sonya of Marlow; 6 grandchildren, Cassie Peters, Robert Maxwell, Abe Waller, Betsy Barron, Madison Bergner, and Josh Mercer and wife Cassidy; 8 great-grandchildren, Josi Peters, Guthrie Hartman, Gentry Mercer, Jaggar Mercer, Raiden Bergner, Rhett Waller, Rip Harrington, and Dandy Harrington; sister, Beverly Terry of Edmond; other surviving relatives include, Shelli Waller, Joe Hartman, Julio Barron, Colby Waller, and Wakely Bergner, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
In addition to both of her husbands, Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janice Jones, and father and mother in law, Daniel and Minnie Waller.
