Betty was born Wednesday, December 20, 1939 in Marlow, to Jefferson Davis and Bertha Marie (Savage) Wortham. She was a lifelong resident of Marlow. Betty spent her days as a homemaker. Taking care of her husband and children was her greatest blessing. Betty married the love of her life, Kenneth Don Alexander, on October 18, 1957, in Marlow. She and Kenneth celebrated more than 65 years of marriage together at the time of her passing. Betty was a long time member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marlow and was very active within the church. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and gardening. Betty enjoyed cooking big holiday dinners for her family. She made the best homemade bread around and always had requests coming in to bake some. Betty enjoyed going down to the pond to enjoy the wildlife when she wasn't busy doing other things. Her family was her everything, especially her grandkids. She never passed up the opportunity to spend time with them and make new memories. Betty was loved by all and will be deeply missed in the days to come.
