Obituary for Betty May Cast

Marlow: Betty May Cast, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Duncan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 7, 2020 at Vimy Ridge Baptist Church in Rush Springs, with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Betty was born Sunday, July 31, 1932 in Grady County, to Homer and Ester (Drewry) Woolley. Betty grew up and lived in the Stephens and Grady County area all of her life. She met Ralph Cast and they were married in Marlow, and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2004. She was a long time member of Vimy Ridge Baptist Church in Rush Springs. Betty enjoyed many things such as digging in the dirt, sewing, painting, working with ceramics, cooking, and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of those close to her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include, 3 daughters, Anne and husband Rick Rodgers of Geary, Regina Hill of Duncan, and Mary and husband Buddy Kirk of TN, son, David and wife Trisa Cast of Rush Springs, sister, Wilma Herron of Kennewick, WA, and daughter-in-law, Kathy Leverett of Wynnewood, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sons, Mike and Stanley Cast, grandson, Michael Cast, and granddaughter, Chelsea Cast.

Pallbearers will be Betty's grandsons.

The family of Betty respectfully asks for those attending the service to wear masks and social distance when possible.
