Marlow: Betty Lou Defibaugh, 83, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Marlow.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 22, 2021, at the Bailey Cemetery, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Betty was born Sunday, February 7, 1937 in Marlow, to Authur and Nora (Davis) Garrett. She was born and raised in the Bray area, and has lived in this area all of her life. Betty married Roy Lynn Defibaugh on June 22, 1971 in Chickasha. She and Roy celebrated 23 years of marriage until his passing on August 1, 1994. Betty spent her days being a homemaker, and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, working in her flower beds, gardening, and cooking, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include, son, John Richardson and wife Wanda of Comanche, son, Kenny Lawson and wife Tina of Loco, daughter, Juanita Stephens and husband Pete of Duncan, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Pat Lambert of Cache, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Mickey Richardson, an infant daughter, brother, Conard Garrett, 2 sisters, Pearl Arterberry, and Effie Duke.
