A family only graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the High Point Cemetery in Buffalo, OK., with Bro. Jerry Hodges officiating. Burial has been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Betty was born Saturday, February 1, 1930 in Bristow, to Isaac Samuel May and Docia Fay (Richburg) Tallent. She was a graduate of Bristow High School. Betty married the love of her life, Harold L. Betty could always be found doing some sort of handwork or crafts, and she was the biggest fan of family sports. She loved her family and loved spending time with them, and she enjoyed holding her grandchildren and loving on her great-grandchildren. Betty will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, Christopher Sullivan, sister, Jan Bias, and 2 brothers, Basil Tallent and Bud Tallent.

Betty's family would like to thank Chisholm Trail Assisted Living and Country Club Care, for allowing her light to shine brightly while in their care.

It was such a honor and privilege to take care of Betty. She always made sure tell us all before we left her room that she loved us and she just wasn’t saying to say it. We knew she meant it. She always took the time to ask about our families and would always offer to pray for us. She taught us employees at Country Club Care what real love is and that GOD is the answer to all of our problems. She will be missed by us all.
