Obituary for Bonnie Lee Redd
Marlow: Bonnie Lee Redd, 78, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Marlow, OK.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Bray Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. David Standifer and Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Bonnie was born Wednesday, July 12, 1944 in Anaconda, MT, to Thomas and Frances Mae (Campbell) Simkins. She married the love of her life, Raymond LeRoy Redd, April 9, 1962. She and Raymond celebrated more than 53 wonderful years of marriage until he preceded her in death on February 10, 2016. Bonnie lived in numerous places during her marriage including: Texas, Montana, Colorada, California, Michigan, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. She moved to Marlow and made it her forever home in 2014. She enjoyed going to church and singing old gospel songs. Bonnie spent as much time as she could with her two special dogs, Heidi and Sadie. She loved hanging out with her neighbors and spending time with her family. Bonnie will be deeply missed by all.
Survivors include 2 sons, Kevin Ray Redd of Marlow, and Craig Orville Redd and wife Wendi of Englewood, CO, daughter, Paula Brooke and husband David, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Thomas Simkins and wife Dorothy of Anaconda, MT, and Ron Simkins and wife Peggy of Richland, WA, 2 sisters, Nancy Cass of MT, and Merry Sue Rosholt of MT, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond LeRoy Redd, her parents, sister, Jean Johnson, and daughter-in-law, Virginia Redd.
