Obituary for Brinda Kay Weger-Hill

Lawton: Brinda Kay Weger-Hill, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side, at the age of 64.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at the Denton Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Denton Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Brinda was born Thursday, April 14, 1955 in Lawton, to Jacob Walter and Quincy Mae (Hair) Weger. She graduated from Sterling High School and went on to attend cosmetology school. Brinda married Robert Don Laughlin in Wichita Falls, Texas on February 14, 1977, they later divorced. She had lived in the Sterling and Lawton area all of her life. Brinda worked for many years as an office manager for Cannon Storage Systems. She was a talented woman who loved photography especially taking pictures of her grandchildren and to sing. Brinda enjoyed cooking and was always looking at new recipes to try. She was a member of the 8th and Lee Church of Christ in Lawton.

Survivors include, life partner, Bill Brown of Lawton, 2 daughters, Ashley Hale and husband Chris of Sterling, April Brown and husband Michael of Fletcher, 3 step-daughters, Tamara Jones and husband Jeffery of Lawton, Tracey Jones and husband Robert of Centennial, CO, Tanya King and husband Dennis of Lawton. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, a sister, Mayetta Willman of Lawton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Brinda was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Charles Weger, Jakie Weger.
