Obituary for Brodie Tate Stewart

Rush Springs: Brodie Tate Stewart, 13, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Rush Springs.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Southern Baptist Church, with Rev. Paul Phipps officiating. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Visitation for Brodie will be at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs on Wednesday, 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM.

Brodie was born Sunday, July 12, 2009 in Duncan, to Brandy and Travis Stewart. Brodie lost his battle with brain cancer on January 28th, at his home surrounded by his family and his pastor. He was a 7th grader at Rush Springs Middle School. Brodie enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, running track, playing video games, and listening to music. He was a boy who loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, and riding his dirt bike. Brodie loved hanging out with his family and friends. Brodie's strength, bravery, courage and faith will last a lifetime with those who had the privilege of meeting him. He will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brodie is survived by his parents, Brandy Stewart and Travis Stewart and Trisha, brother, Tyler Stewart, step-sister, Shaddiah Phillips, grandparents, Bob and Sallie Stewart, Ramona and Wayne Newman, Ronald Willson, and Mary Midkiff, great-grandparents, Bob Costlow, and Doris Blair, his uncle, aunts, and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be: Tyler Stewart, Aaron Chesnut, Mike Miller, Dalton Melton, Gabe Scott, and Eli Randall.
