Obituary for Carolyn June Bingham (Batts)

Marlow: Carolyn June Bingham, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in Marlow, at the age of 84.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Hope Cemetery, with Rev. Gregg Price officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Carolyn was born Monday, June 3, 1935 in Burkburnett, TX, to Walter Gains and Laura Cebell (Fleetwood) Batts. She had lived in Bray all of her life and had graduated from Bray School. Carolyn married the love of her life, William "Bub" Lawrence Bingham in Lawton on June 2, 1951. They were married for 53 wonderful years before his passing on November 6, 2004. Carolyn was a loving woman and everyone was always welcomed into her home with open arms and a warm smile. She enjoyed being with all of her family especially at holidays or any special occasion. Carolyn took great pride in all of her flower beds and enjoyed feeding the birds. She liked to crochet, read and go fishing. Carolyn will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.

Survivors include, 2 sons, Clifford "Butch" Lawrence Bingham and wife Charlene of Rush Springs, Lester "Wayne" Bingham an wife Kathy of Bray, 5 daughters, Carolyn "Sissy" Joyce Galloway of Bray, Debra "Debbie" Marie Osborne and husband Larry of Bray, Peggy Stinnett and husband Richard of Bray, Janet Kaye Price and husband Gregg of Marlow, Susan Gay Watkins and husband Danny of Ardmore and adopted son, Jessie Sievere of Marlow. She was also survived by 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brother-in-laws.

Along with her husband of 53 years, Carolyn was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Alan Bingham, a son-in-law, Bill Galloway, her parents, a brother, Odis Gains Batts, and 2 sisters, Lottie May Bronner, Clara Jo Welch.




Pallbearers will be: Bobby Blackburn, Johnny Bingham, Jimmy Bingham, Robert McNeil, Butler Lumbert, and Raymond Lumbert.
