Obituary for Carrol J. Jordan (Tilley)
Rush Springs: Carrol Jo Jordan, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 in Rush Springs, at the age of 80.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2019, at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Jordan Family Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Carrol was born Monday, November 21, 1938 in Ada, to Dewey Kenneth and Bonnie (Golden) Tilley. She lived most of her life in the Rush Springs area and graduated from Ada High School. Carrol married the love of her life, Johnie Jim Jordan in Ada on October 28, 1956; they were married 57 wonderful years before his passing on June 14, 2014. Carrol worked as a hairdresser for many years in Rush Springs. She was a secret sisters in church and enjoyed working on arts and crafts. Carrol liked gardening and working cows especially loved looking at her baby calves and loving on them. She was very social and enjoyed going square dancing. Carrol loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include, a son, Johnie Jordan and wife Rhonda of Rush Springs, 2 daughters, Cheri Lynn Beaver of Rush Springs, Sandra Kay Manning and husband Gary of Alex, 4 grandchildren, Lloyd, Michelle, Andrea, Jacob, and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 brothers, James Tilley and wife Pricilla of Midwest City, Kenneth Tilley of NE, Windell Mullins and wife Vickie of CA, Glen Mullins and wife Debbie of Shawnee, a sister, Debbie Mullins of Longview, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, Carrol was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristin Newton, her parents, 3 brothers, Billy Tilley, Jerry Tilley, infant brother, and a sister, Francis Mullins.
Pallbearers will be: Lloyd Newton, Jacob Jordan, Bryant Light, Logan Light, Trey Newton, Cole Newton, and Devin Jordan.
