Rush Springs: Carroll Dean Fincher, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Marlow, at the age of 86.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the Rock Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Jerry Couch officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Carroll was born Saturday, August 27, 1932 in Duncan, to Benjamin Wilson and Essie Lee (Baxter) Fincher. He lived in the Comanche and Grady County areas all of his life. Carroll married his loving wife, Eva LaVonne Holybee in Comanche County on May 29, 1955. They were married for 51 years before Eva's passing on April 18, 2007. Carroll served in the United States Army. He worked as a welder for more than 40 years for Cline Industries. Carroll enjoyed being a gun smith and going to gun shows. He was a long time member of the American Rifle Association. Carroll loved fixing things and was always tinkering with things. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include, a son, James Carroll Fincher and wife Susan of Rush Springs, a daughter, Dorothy Willoughby of Marlow, a grandson, Dustin Willoughby of OK, 5 great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Hope, Elijah, Olig, Lilyann as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife, Carroll was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Cofer, 2 son-in-laws, Eugene Willoughby, Earl Cofer, his parents, 2 brothers, James Lee Fincher, Glenn Wilson Fincher, and a sister, Frieda McCormick.
