Obituary for Charlotte Ann Bratcher (Alsobrook)

Duncan: Charlotte Ann Bratcher, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in Duncan, at the age of 67.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM only.

Charlotte was born Wednesday, July 9, 1952 in Marlow, to Earl and Arcy (Thornton) Alsobrook. She was raised and lived in Bray most of her life. She attended school at Bray and graduated from Rush Springs High School. Charlotte married her loving husband, Laren Gene Bratcher in Marlow on July 11, 1969; they were married for 38 years before his passing on January 12, 2008. Charlotte worked for the City of Rush Springs as well as for the military doing aptitude testing. She loved to read mysteries and romances, especially Stephen King books. Charlotte enjoyed camping with her family and playing games or cards; she was very competitive. She liked to watch movies, especially old ones. Charlotte loved traveling with Laren looking for antiques, especially Fenton glass, but collected all kinds of crystals; she was an avid collector. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Rush Springs.

Survivors include, her 2 sons, Gene Burton Bratcher and Tanya of Rush Springs, Benjamin Marcus Bratcher of Rush Springs, a daughter, Vicky Lynn Roberts and husband Jeff of Rush Springs, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Bob Alsobrook of Oklahoma City, Jim Alsobrook of Lawton, Kevin Alsobrook of Rush Springs, and 3 sisters, Katherine Caywood of Yukon, Patsy McFadden of Yukon, Oklahoma, Mary Shelton of Rush Springs.

Along with her husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joe Dean Alsobrook, and 2 sisters, Earline Alsobrook Howard, Gene Blundell.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Alsobrook, Garrin Bratcher, Wesley Bratcher, Cayde Chancellor, Chad Chancellor, and Tyler Roberts.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews.
