Marlow: Clarice Mae Morris, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Marlow, at the age of 98.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2020, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel, with Rev. Rocky Keck officiating. Burial will follow in the Purdy Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Clarice was born Wednesday, May 31, 1922 in Waynoka, to Ben and Elva Dean (Stinnett) Ritter. She had lived most of her life in the Doyle area. Clarice married the love of her life, JC Morris on February 14, 1941; they were married for 49 wonderful years before JC's passing on May 2, 1990. Clarice enjoyed square dancing and loved birds especially raising pigeons and doves. She was an amazing cook that was always taking care of anybody's kids. Clarice was a Nanny to everybody. She attended the Pearl Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Robert Glen Morris of Lindsay, Wesley Darrel Morris and wife Tina of Marlow, a daughter, Deborah Gail Mangus and husband John of Talequah, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Arvilla Ritter of Bray as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with her husband, Clarice was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Wayne Morris, infant twin daughters, her parents, 5 brothers, Leon Ritter, Ivan Ritter, Walter Ritter, Bobby Ritter, Billy Ritter, and a sister, Leota Holt.
