Obituary for Cleta Joy Harris (Douthit)

Rush Springs: Cleta Joy Harris, 82, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in Duncan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 9, 2020, at the First Assembly of God in Rush Springs, with Rev. Eugene Howeth and Rev. Mike Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel of Rush Springs.

Cleta was born Wednesday, March 16, 1938 in Cement, to Harley and Willa Mae (Cobb) Douthit. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Rush Springs, where she was a Sunday School Teacher,secretary, and was also the WM leader. Cleta loved tending to her flowers and feeding the birds. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include, husband, Randall Harris of Rush Springs, son, Hershel Claborn and wife Karla, Daughter Teresa Ford and husband Del, 10 grandchildren, Shane Claborn and wife Cortney, Rodney Clayborn and wife Kara, Jessica Battles and husband Bryan, Colby Spears and wife Kendra, Cory Spears and Courtney Spears, Marshall Harris, Dylan Harris and Amber Dawn, Ryder Ford, Del R. Ford II and wife Stephanie, and James Ford, 11 great- grandchildren: Aaliyah Shearer, Titan Shearer, Conner Claborn, Colton Claborn, Rohan Claborn, Max Claborn, Makayla Adamson, Ceaton Spears, Maverick Spears, Dean Ford, Wyatt Ford, sister, Marilynn Howeth and husband Eugene,Sister Barbara Parker and husband Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Douthit, and two sons, Larry and Jesse Harris

Pallbearers will be: Shane Claborn, Rodney Claborn, Colby Spears, Cory Spears, Marshall Harris,Dylan Harris, Ryder Ford, and Del Ford II.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brian Hale, Deon Duke, and David Meadows, Bricen Ladwig, and Collier Ladwig.
