Marlow: David Walter Gannon, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Marlow, at the age of 58.
At the families request cremation has taken place and no services have been scheduled at this time. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
David was born Wednesday, November 4, 1959 in Council Bluffs, IA, to Donald and Lorna (Stivers) Gannon. He graduated high school in Danville, Illinois. David had lived in the Elgin, Illinois area most of his life before moving to Marlow 2 years ago. David married the love of his life, Karen Darling on September 5, 1981 in Vernon, Texas. They were married for 37 years. He served in the United States Airforce for many years. David enjoyed using his 3D printer to sculpt things and playing his guitar. He loved his model trains and was a major science fiction fan.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Gannon of the home, 3 sons, Vincent Coberly of Oklahoma City, Richard Coberly of Altus, Reginald Lewis, Jr. and wife Johnetta of Stergis, SD, 2 daughters, Janice Tate and husband Gale of Duncan, Terrie Berryhill of Atlus, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, his mother, Lorna Gannon of Council Bluffs, IA. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Dan Cash of WA, Chuck Naylor of IA, Stephen Cash of TX, 6 sisters, Peggy Montgomery of NE, Sonya Hummel of MN, Vicki Jones of TX, Willa Lee of IA, Kim Spurelo of CA, Jolene Runyon of CA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Briella Arroyo, his father, 2 brothers, Raymond Naylor, Richard Naylor, and a nephew, Kevin Nelson.
