Rush Springs: David Harvey Haney, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 in Duncan, at the age of 73.
Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time per the family request. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
David was born Sunday, July 14, 1946 in Arkansas, to George and Nobie (McLemore) Haney. He attended school at Central High Public Schools and had lived in the Rush Springs area the last 25 years previously living in the Central High community. David married Carla Chaney in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1993; they had been married for 26 years. David worked for more than 40 years as a truck driver for TNG Trucking. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and watching T.V.
Survivors include, his wife, Carla Haney of the home, 4 sons, John Haney and wife Melinda of Indiahoma, Allen Barnes of Lake Altus, Dewayne Mayberry and wife Rita of Rush Springs, James Mayberry of Rush Springs, a daughter, Robbon Mayberry of Mountain View, a grandson, Jim Haney of Indiahoma. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Cnythia Bishop of Cache, Lynn Tow of Cache, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, George Haney.
