Obituary for Deborah Louise Howard-Davis
Oklahoma City: Deborah Louise Davis, 66, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 in Oklahoma City.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Hilltop Church of God, with Rev. Ron Howard and Roger Bridgman officiating. Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Deborah was born Tuesday, June 21, 1955 in Duncan, to Rev. Gerald Wayne and Patsy (Williams) Howard. She was a graduate of Duncan High School, where she was also a member of the Pep Club. She was always proud of being a Duncan Demon Alumni. Deborah later attended Cameron University, USAO, and UCO, and earned her Bachelor's degree in secondary education. She lived the majority of her life in OKC and spent her time being a homemaker. She married her best friend, Donald Davis, March 22, 1997, in OKC. Deborah and Donald would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this coming March. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, playing piano, table top games with her family, fishing, and camping. Deborah also enjoyed attending rodeos, going dancing, and singing at church. She was also a Chickasaw Elder. She was very crafty when it came to needlework and even used to make her own candles. There wasn't anything that she wouldn't at least try, and most of the time she accomplished it. Deborah's family was always her main focus in life. Her absence will be felt deeply and she will be missed by all.
Survivors include her husband of the home, son, David Adkins and wife Anastacia, daughter, Amanda Louise Adkins and DeAngelo Spotwood of OKC, 7 grandchildren, Alexavier Adkins, Alexandria Adkins, Anastacia Adkins, William Adkins and wife Erin, Treyvon Parker, Aaliyah Spotwood, and Alayna Spotwood, great grandchild on the way, Azayliah Parker, brother, Donnie Howard and wife Cecile of Ada, 3 sisters, Deressa Patterson and husband Eddie of Duncan, Geraldine Lyon and husband David of Marlow, and Dena Bridgman and husband Roger of Marlow, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jerry Wayne Howard, granddaughter, Alisha Louise Scott, and nephew, Cory Patterson.
Pallbearers will be: William Adkins, Treyvon Parker, David Lyon, David Adkins, Eddie Patterson, and Don Howard
Honorary Pallbearer will be: Christopher Patterson.
