Marlow: Donna Faye Archer, 87, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 in Duncan, OK.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM, at Bailey Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Parkhurst officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Donna was born Friday, January 6, 1933 in Grady County, to John and Alzie (Meredith) Fullerton. She was a graduate of Cox City High School, where she was also a basketball player. Donna met Roy F. Archer and they married in May of 1952 in Bailey. She lived in the Stephens and Grady County areas all of her life. Donna enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking (which she was exceptionally good at), watching OKC Thunder games, watching Michael Jordan, attending all of her grand children's activities, but there was nothing she loved more than being a mother and spending time with her family.
Survivors include, 2 daughters, Jill Manning and husband Bruce of Lindsay, Vanna Holt and husband Leslie of Marlow, and a niece she spoke of as an adopted daughter, Sheila Jo Gibson and husband Wyatt of Davis, 5 grandchildren: Lesha (Holt) Stallons and husband Michael of McKinney, TX, Amanda (Holt) Terrell and husband Kyle of Azle, TX, Kyle Manning of Lawton, Julianne (Manning) Johnson and husband Stephen of Lawton, and Meredith Banks and husband TJ of Keller, TX, 4 great-grandchildren: Mason Stallons, Morgan Terrell, Evelyn Banks, and Maelyn Banks, sister, Tommie Hackney, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 4 sisters: Johnnie Barnett, Irma Dee Archer, Billie Ruth Bryant, and Bobbie June Sanders.
