Obituary for Donna Darlene Womack
Rush Springs: Donna Darlene Womack, 72, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Lawton.
Committal will be at 11:00 AM, at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2021, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with Billy Morgan officiating. Burial arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
There will be a family visitation on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Donna was born Thursday, March 25, 1948 in Marlow, to Clifford C. and Mary Mae (Paul) Burns. She attended Duncan and Marlow schools, and lived in the Stephens County area all of her life. Donna met the love of her life, Jerry Womack, and they were married on June 2, 1967 in Bray. They celebrated 53 years of marriage. Donna enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and loved her pets. More than anything, she loved her family and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Survivors include, husband, Jerry Womack of the home, son, Jerry Womack, Jr. and wife Shelly of Marlow, 2 daughters, Peggy Osborne and husband Randy of Comanche, and Donna Newton and husband John of FL., 7 grandchildren: Samantha, Alexander, Elizabeth, Katlin, Xavier, Keiver, and Kendra, 2 great-grandchildren, James, and Esme, 4 sister, Linda Tullos of Duncan, Shirley Ferguson and husband John of Comanche, Charolette Osborne and husband Johnny of Duncan, and Pauly Herrin of Duncan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Clark and Tony.
