Obituary for Elizabeth Charlene Bingham

Rush Springs: Elizabeth "Charlene" Bingham, 79, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Rush Springs.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 4:00 PM, at Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with David Hale, Tim Beard, Paul Phipps, and Greg Price officiating. Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Rush Springs.

Elizabeth Charlene was born to Scott and Mildred Qualls February 20, 1944. She passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in her home. Charlene graduate4d from Duncan High School in 1962. After high school, she worked locally for Duncan Auto Salvage and Hagars. In 1967 she married Jerry McClenny. They had 2 daughters, Jerri Jean and Stacey. She lost Jerry in 1967 and later married Butch Bingham in 1973. A third daughter, Jackie, was born to that marriage. Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. "Nannie" was the rock for everyone. She and Butch shared 49 years making homes in and around Duncan and Marlow until they settled in Rush Springs in 1984. Charlene was loved by everyone who knew her. She always had room for another plate at her table and an ear for anyone's troubles.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry McClenn, her parents, her parents-in-law, and 2 sisters, Maxine Qualls and Marilynn Edwards.

She is survived by her husband, Butch Bingham of the home; 3 daughters; Jerri and Roy Crow, Stacey and Randy Moon, and Jackie and George Crow, all of Rush Springs, 9 grandchildren: Dustin and Joanie McClenmy of Ft Worth, Tracie and Leighla Roberts of Duncan, Payton and Makayla Roberts, Lexie Crow of Rush Springs, Caleb and Megan Caveny of Duncan, Joey Borski, Josh and Destiny Borski of Rush Springs, Mason and Trace George of Altus, and Mandy and James Stamper of Rush Springs; brother, Roy Qualls and sister, Addie McMurran, both of Duncan, 15 great-grandchildren: Boston and Briar McClenny, Spencer and Oakland Roberts, Brantley Riddle, Maizey and Ellie Caveny, Ayden, Kaelyn, and Jacie Stamper, Khloe, Gracie, Letty, and Brynlee Borski, and Guz George, and many nieces, nephews, and a host of children she fed and loved.
