Obituary for Emogene Hardy (Davis)

Frisco, TX: Emogene Hardy, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 in Plano, TX at the age of 91.

In light of the continued health emergency, the family has choosen to hold a Private Family Funeral Services with Rev. Mike Bernhardt officiating. Burial take place at the Letitia Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow, Oklahoma. Please watch for the webcast on www.callawaysmithcobb.com. Emogene was born Tuesday, May 1, 1928 in Addington, to Irving Vance and Bessie (McDaniel) Davis. She graduated from Addington High School where she grew up. Emogene married her loving husband, Bill Hardy, Sr. in 1948 and had been married for 72 wonderful years before her passing. Emogene lived various places throughout her life; including Albuquerque, El Paso, Dallas, Corpus Christi, and later moved to Marlow in the early 1990's. She enjoyed cooking and helping with church projects. Emogene loved to collect knick knacks and display them. She was very involved with her boys especially while they were growing up. Emogene's greatest joys was her granddaughter whom she and Bill adopted and raised. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.


Survivors include her husband Billy Hardy, Sr. of Frisco, TX, 2 sons, Billy Johnell Hardy, Jr.and wife Nancy Ann of Frisco, TX, Kenneth Allen Hardy of Lawton, a grandson, Michael Kevin Hardy and wife Jenni, a granddaughter, Tanya Nichole Guerra and husband Robert, a great-grandson, Brenden Michael Hardy and 5 great-granddaughter, Jaime Michelle Newman and husband Clint, Rolanda Rhae, Justeen Leeanne, Robbyn Nichole, and Olivia Marie.


In addition to her parents, Emogene was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Devin Alana Hardy.
