Marlow: Erwood "Woody" Neal Meyer, 85, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Duncan.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Marlow, with Dr. Joe Ligon officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Stephens County Honor Guard. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Woody was born Saturday, September 9, 1933 in Armstrong County, PA, to Emery Dale and Florence (Altman) Meyer. He graduated from Elderton High School in Pennsylvania. Woody served in the United States Army for more than 30 years. He lived in Marlow since 1984. Woody married the love of his life, Barbara Price on December 28, 1955 in Waurika; to this union 2 children were born, Michael and Gloria. Before his passing, Woody and Barbara had been married for 63 wonderful years. He was a founding member of the Bray Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the American Legion. Woody enjoyed collecting hot wheels, wood working, hunting, and shopping. He loved his cats but most of all Woody loved spending time with his family and friends that were dear to his heart.
Survivors include, his wife, Barbara Meyer of the home, a son, Michael Neal Meyer of Marlow, a daughter, Gloria Ann Banta and husband Jerry Lynn of Tecumseh, 2 grandsons, Christopher Harris, Jeffrey Harris, 6 great-grandchildren, Seth Harris, Summer Harris, Mikayla Wilbourn, Keylub Harris, Bailey Harris, Melody Harris. He was also survived by 2 sisters, Dorothy Fleming of Connersville, IN, Sandra Hill and husband Jim of Grand City, MI, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Woody was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Ronald Meyer, Darl Meyer, 3 sisters, Judy Fulmer, Shirley Connell, and Joan Keeler.
Pallbearers will be: Gerald Price, Ricky Price, Christopher Harris, Jerry Harris, Katie Harris, and Gloria Banta.
