Marlow: Freddie Lee Blackburn, 61, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in Marlow.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 9, 2023, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Steven Bernard and Micah Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, January 8, 2023, 1:00-8:30 PM.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday evening, 4:00-6:00PM
Freddie was born Sunday, June 25, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Tommy James and Bobbie Jean (Smithson) Blackburn. He grew up attending Bray Schools. Freddie had lived in Marlow since 1997 and made his living by being a tree trimmer. He enjoyed working outside, cooking, and eating. Freddie also enjoyed transforming old and broken things, junking, and building bird houses. He loved his dog Beethoven, who was his best friend.
Survivors include his father, Tommy Blackburn of Stonewall, daughter, mother, Bobbie Blackburn of Boyd, TX, daughter, Kami Alexander and husband Tyler of Chickasha, 2 grandsons, 5 brothers, Daniel Blackburn of Norman, Ben Blackburn of Oklahoma City, Matthew Blackburn of McAlester, Joshua Blackburn of Duncan, and Joseph Blackburn of Duncan, 5 sisters, Dana Johnson of Harrah, Debbie Patterson of Marlow, Bobbie Bernard of Boyd, Rebekah Johnston of Chickasha, and Summer Blackburn of McAlester, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Freddie was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Blackburn
Pallbearers will be: Devin McGarvey, Cyrus Bernard, Emmaus Bernard, Andrew Patterson, Bill Embrey, and Chris Woodall
