Obituary for Fredrick Ollen Schwarz

Rush Springs: Fredrick "Freddy" Ollen Schwarz, 73, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Central High.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs, with Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Freddy was born Monday, July 21, 1947 in Marlow, to Christian and Ruby (Hinton) Schwarz. Freddy lived in Rush Springs all of his life. He graduated from Rush Springs High School and Cameron University with a Bachelor's Degree. Freddy met Wanda Creech and they were married on May 31, 1969 in Dillsboro, IN. Freddy served as a member of the United States Army and proudly served in Vietnam. Freddy enjoyed golfing, dancing, fishing, and watching any sport he could on the TV. He especially loved his family and spending time with them, and having their weekly Sunday dinners.

Survivors include daughter, Missy and husband Ronnie Price of Marlow, 7 grandchildren: Dylan Waller, Destiny Waller, Kamryn Waller, Coby Waller, Gwen and husband Manuel Cervantes, Ronnie and wife Kathleen Price, and Kegan Price, 1 great-grandchild, Reid Allen Cummings, brother, Robert and wife Emma Schwarz of San Antonio, and his very dear friends, Bobby and Wanda Artrip of Central High.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family respectfully asks for all those attending the service, to please wear masks and to social distance when possible.


Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Price, Dylan Waller, James Churchman, Doug Shrock, Gary Langham, and Lloyd Ball.
