Foster: Gordon Wayne Vrooman, 61, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in Marlow.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Edna Kelly's House at 168008 N. 2990 Road. Cremation has been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Gordon was born Monday, September 9, 1957 in Escondido, CA, to Ernest Manley Vrooman, Jr. and Mary Lee (Warren)Vrooman. He attended school in Escondito, CA and moved to Oklahoma in 1986. Gordon was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing and hunting. He liked riding dirt bikes and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include, his best friend, Betty Kay Austin of the home, 2 sons, Cody Wayne Austin of Lindsay, Mathew McCool of Sacremento, CA, 2 step-daughters, Jennifer Austin-Flick of Oklahoma City, Misty Austin-Duvall of Duncan, 15 grandchildren, Jordon Cole Duvall, Noah Duvall, Hailey Duvall, Justin Duvall, Alexis Flick, Ryker Vanderwise, Ledgen Vanderwise, Pasiley Austin, Quinnlynn Austin, Walker Austin, Nicolas Duvall, Payton Duvall, Nevaha Duvall, Bentley Duvall, and Weston Duvall. He is also survived by 4 brothers, Wesley Doran of AZ, Danny Henderson of Marlow, Kenny Henderson of Marlow, Jimmy Doran of OH, 2 sisters, Edna Kelly of Duncan, sister, Sharon Ellis of CA, 4 nephews, Erik Kelly of Duncan, Danny Kelly and wife Tina of Foster, James Kelly and wife Jana of Marlow, Bob Kelly and wife Jolynn of Marlow, 2 nieces, Cherie Norris and husband James of Duncan, Linda Mouser and husband Mikey, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
Gordan was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Troy Kelly, grandmother, Rose Grove, and nephew, Troy Kelly Jr.
