Obituary for Harold Brummitt Williams

Marlow: Harold Brummitt Williams, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 in Duncan, at the age of 95.

At the family's request cremation has taken place and at this time no services are scheduled. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Harold was born Tuesday, February 26, 1924 in Riger, MO, to Albert Lafayette and Eldora Henrietta (Kelso) Williams. He attended school at Sulivan County, MO schools and had recently moved to the Marlow area in December. He previously had lived in the Muskogee and Porum area for 21 years. Harold married the love of his life, Rowena May Lavely on July 18, 1953 in Browning, MO, they were married for 65 wonderful years. Harold worked as an auto mechanic for many years and enjoyed riding motorcycles, with the Goldwings Riding Association and Retreads. He loved to fish and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include, his wife, Rowena May Williams of the home, 2 sons, Harold Leon Williams and wife Bonnie of Sydney, NE, Daniel Ray Williams of NM, 2 daughters, Deborah Marie Williams of Catoosa, Patsy Darlene Williams of Muskogee, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by a son, David Randall Williams, a daughter, Dorothy May Atkins, his parents, 3 brothers, James Williams, Carl Williams, Bernie Williams, and 3 sisters, Belvie Evans, Amy Fuller, Ethel McKinster, Imogene McDonald..
