I am saddened to learn of Helen’s passing. With the severe storms rolling through Marlow on April 22nd, my wife and I prayed for Helen’s safety. The next day, I was looking her telephone number up online, when her obituary caught my eye. I guess My prayer was answered, as she is safe in the arms of our Heavenly Father now.

I had the privilege of meeting Helen in 2017 when I dropped by her house to share some family tree information and to see if she had any old family photos of her parents. From our meeting and our talks on the phone, she was always a delight. She loved to tell me about her and Robert falling in love, about moving around while he taught and then sold textbooks, about where her kids and grandkids lived and worked, and about gardening. I think she treasured her family.

I wish you much peace and comfort during this difficult time. Sincerely,

Marty Skrapka
