Mr. Alexander was my junior high band teacher at Velma-Alma. It was a very enjoyable class, one that a stayed with throughout HS and college. One memory, during 6th grade, my school owned sax was damaged beyond repair. Mr. Alexander helped me move from the school owned saxophone to the school owned tuba. I truly enjoyed band under Mr. Alexander. He was an outstanding educator.
