Obituary for James Lawrence Ince

Lindsay: James "Mickey" Lawrence Ince, 83, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 in Lindsay.

To protect others from COVID, there will be a graveside service held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, with Rocky Keck officiating. Burial and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

James was born Tuesday, August 31, 1937 in Foster, to Bryan Lawrence and Whit (Ross) Ince. He was a graduate of Doyle High School. James lived in Stephens and Garvin Counties all of his life, and he worked in the oil field, as well as farming. He married Celesta June on August 31, 1976 in Cooke County, TX, and they celebrated 39 years of marriage before she preceded him in death in 2016. James enjoyed fishing on Lake Texoma, farming, ranching, and taking care of his cattle. He liked staying busy, and working all the time.

Survivors include, his daughter, Jaimie Hart and husband Kelly of Edmond, 2 grandchildren, Kristopher Hart and wife Alyssa, and April Crawley and husband Seth, 5 great-grandchildren, Britton, Camdyn, Samuel, Austen, and Abel, Special Friends, Teresa, Adam, and Mary.

In addition to his wife, James was preceded in death by his parents.

James'' family would like to thank the staff at Lifeline Health Care, and the many others who assisted in caring for James.
