Marlow: Janet Louise Cummings, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Marlow.

Janet was born Monday, September 6, 1954 in St. Louis, MO, to Marvin and Francis (Ragsdale) Clements. She was a graduate of Topeka West High School. Janet worked in the circulation department at the public library.
She married Joseph W. Cummings on May 1, 1992, Topeka. Janet and Joseph celebrated more than 29 years of marriage together at the time of her passing. She was an avid reader who could always be found reading a book and she enjoyed bird watching. Janet loved her friends and family more than anything else and enjoyed any time they spent together.
Survivors include her husband of the home; 2 brothers, Mark Clements of Topeka, Jim Clements of Topeka; nephew, Michael Clements, niece, Julie Clements, nephew, Chris Clements.
She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Newcomer, and her parents.
