Obituary for JC Barnett
Sterling: JC Barnett, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Sterling.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Glory Bound Church, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
JC was born Sunday, June 14, 1931 in Hunter, MO, to Dorthy Roberts. He married Deloris Faye Cook and they shared many wonderful years together until she preceded him in death. JC spent his life working as a rancher. His favorite things in life were taking care of his horses and cattle, and spending time with his friends.
Survivors include his son, Joey Barnett, daughter, Dottie Barnett, and long time partner, Mary Freda Shelton of Rush Springs.
In addition to his wife, JC was preceded in death by his mother, and sister, Freda Marjoja.
Pallbearers will be members of Glory Bound Church
