Obituary for Jeffery Lynn Elroy
Marlow: Jeffery Lynn Elroy, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Marlow, at the age of 56.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Jeff was born Monday, August 13, 1962 in Marlow, to Glendol Clayton and Dorothy Jane (Davis) Elroy. He lived in the Marlow area all of his life and graduated from Marlow High School with the Class of 1980. Jeff was a machinist that owned his own business, Elroy Machine, INC. Prior to his parent's passing, he enjoyed spending time with them everyday. Jeff loved to build things around the shop and was always busy cleaning his machines, he also liked to fish. He enjoyed watching baseball and piddling around the house. However, his favorite hobby was giving his sons unsolicited advice. His life revolved around his boys, grandchildren, dogs, and the shop. He loved to spend time with and aggravate his grandchildren. Jeff never came to visit them without a toy, slushies, or skittles.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Jeff Elroy and wife Lisha of Duncan, Ethan Elroy of Duncan, 2 grandchildren, Ella Kate Elroy, Knox Lane Elroy, a brother, Keith Elroy and wife Sandy of Marlow, and a sister, Linda Craig and husband Brian of Houston, TX, as well as host of cousins and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his loving parents.
Pallbearers will be: Jeff Elroy, Ethan Elroy, Keith Elroy, Ricky Rosen, Larry Smith, David Maxwell, Carl Merrill, Lyndol Brosh, and Ronnie Whaley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Coey Rosen, James Brown, Chris Brown, and Denny Elroy.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Beautiful Day Foundation in his honor.
