Obituary for Jennifer Nichols

Cashion, Jennifer Nichols, 66, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Tulsa.

Services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. D.A. Bennett officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Jennifer was born Saturday, June 19, 1954 in Seminole, to William and Jane (Melton) Morris. Jennifer grew up in the Bray-Doyle area, raised by her mother and step-father, E.C. Conner until she graduated from Pernell High School in 1972. She met Ronnie Nichols in 1974 and they were married a few weeks later on May 2, 1974 in Wichita Falls, Tx. Jennifer and Ronnie made their home in Cashion, Oklahoma where they spent most of their 46 years together raising their family. Jennifer was an active and well known member of the Cashion community where she became known as "Momma Jen" to the children in town. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Cashion and active in supporting the youth of the church. There was not a sporting event she did not attend, whether her biological children were playing or not, she was there to support the kids and was most certainly the loudest fan. Jennifer enjoyed bowling, chocheting, spoiling her granddaughters, and making everyone laugh and feel loved. Jennifer will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind numerous family members and friends who loved and adored her. At the top of that list is her loving husband of 46 years, Ronnie Nichols of Cashion. She is also survived by son, Cory Nichols and Lindsey Couch of Oklahoma City, son, Darren and wife Lindsey Nichols of Oklahoma City, 5 granddaughters: Lyla, Natalee, Denise, Claire, and Vivien Nichols, sister, Cathleen and husband Larry Payne of Guthrie, mother-in-law, Peggy Nichols of Oklahoma City, sister-in-law Becky Nichols of Oklahoma City, brother-in-law, Randell and wife Jolene Nichols of Kansas, and several nieces and nephews, including Sean Hadley of Oklahoma City and Megan Gibson of Cashion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.C. and Jane Conner, her daughter Bobby Jo Nichols, and her father-in-law, Eugene Nichols.

Pallbearers will be: Cory Nichols, Darren Nichols, Sean Hadley, Rick Patterson, Mark Beavers, and Chris Abney.

The family is requesting that masks be worn and to social distance when possible.
