Cement: Jerry Wayne Smith, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 48.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Jerry was born Monday, August 3, 1970 in Marlow, to Larry Wayne and Sherry Lynn (Uhlig) Smith. He had graduated from Sterling High School and had lived in the Grady county area all of his life. Jerry worked as a manager for Southern Plains. He was an extremely hard worker and took great pride in his work. Jerry was a good mechanic and enjoyed working on vehicles. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish as well as spending time at the lake inner tubing, camping, and cooking out with family and friends. Jerry loved his family dearly and enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews. He will be missed greatly by everyone. Jerry was a member of the Sterling Church of Christ.

Survivors include, a daughter, Cali Rose Smith of Cement, his father, Larry Wayne Smith and wife Julie of Rush Springs, a brother, Terry Lynn Smith and wife Tracy of Chickasha, 3 sisters, Alicia Bonaparte of Cement, Becky Jester and Stephen Baggett of Cyril, Cindy Smith and husband CJ of Anadarko, 5 nephews, Austin Kitchko, Ryan Kitchko, Gabe Annesley, Trent Smith, Treven Smith, a niece, Haedyn Lambert and husband Brandon, and a host of great friends, including Kelley Hansen.

Jerry was preceded in death by mother, Sherry Lynn Grisham, and grandparents.

Pallbearers will be: Roy Wilcox, Marty Curry, Steve Taylor, Treven Smith, Brian Flood, and Robert Baggett.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Monty Sharry, Ryan Kitchko, Austin Kitchko, Trent Smith, and Gabe Annesley.

I could never have asked for a better brother or best friend. Jerry loved nascar, fishing, hunting, especially hunting, his family, friends, and employee's. Jerry has been an amazing dad to his daughter Cali. Jerry loved helping others and seeing people do better.
