Obituary for Jimmie Dan Coyle

Rush Springs: Jimmie Dan Coyle, 72, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in Rush Springs.

A celebration of life will be held at Taylor Lake, Saturday, May 6, at 12:00 PM. Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Jimmie was born Monday, December 11, 1950, in Rush Springs, to Charles Ray and Mary Ellen (Shears) Coyle Millhouse. He was a graduate of Rush Springs High School. Jimmie lived in Rush Springs most of his life and worked as a directional driller in the oil field. He also spent time serving as a proud member of the United States Army during the Korean War. After a 31-year engagement, he and Janice Nation married on January 24, 2001, in Wichita Falls, TX. Jimmie and Claudia celebrated more than 13 years of marriage until she preceded him in death on February 11, 2014. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and always had a great story to tell. Jimmie enjoyed playing the guitar, working on cars, and gunsmithing in his free time. Jimmie loved his family the most and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. He was dearly loved and will be missed.

Survivors include his life-partner, Linda Rice of the home, daughter, Melody Wibking of Rush Springs, 4 grandchildren, Cody Rountree Sr. and wife Kimberly, Tobi Rice, Bill Rice, and Heidi Rice, 11 great-grandchildren, Allison Packer, Cody Rountree, Jr., Makinzy Pratt, Xander Rountree, Lea Beckham, Aaliyah Aucoin, Matthew Aucoin, Kaleb Disher, Josie Disher, Noma Rice, and Arthur Rice, brother, Lee Millhouse and wife Cindy of IL, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In addition to his wife Janice, Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Will Millhouse, sister, Connie Dodd, and 2 brothers, Joe Coyle and Tim Millhouse.
