Mr. Taylor brought music to life for me in chorus classes, concerts, and contests. Each Christmas I have an ornament I place prominently on my tree-an upright piano that plays “Go Tell It On The Mountain” and relive the fun and energy he helped us generate when performing that song in the annual Christmas concert.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Taylor family as they go through this difficult time.

Every student who was in vocal music with Mr. Taylor was impacted greatly by his teaching, as he established a standard of excellence, but also instilled a love of the art. I was very directly and positively affected as I was in his music classes since he came to Marlow until the time I graduated—in his choirs, musicals (5th grade “Little Blue Angel”), studied piano with him and enjoyed the benefits of his exceptional ability as a collaborative pianist. His rendition of The Lord’s Prayer was unparalleled! Mr. Taylor was so very generous with his time for all of us singers for all our performances, even taking the time to drive to my university audition to play for me. I will always remember his patience, kindness and laughter. I send my deepest condolences to Barbara, Patti and the rest of his dear family. Heaven’s music just became even more beautiful with Mr. Taylor’s presence.
