Duncan: Jimmy Dallas McClendon, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Marlow at the age of 56.
At the family's request cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Jimmy was born Saturday, October 20, 1962 in Dallas, TX, to Rev. Clarence Woody and Barbara"Susie" Ruth (Hanson) McClendon. He graduated from South Lake High School in Texas with the Class of 1980. Jimmy had lived in the Duncan area since 2006 and previously had lived in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed reading his Bible and listening to Christian music. Jimmy was a member of the Memorial Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include, a son, Jimmy Dallas Smiley of Denver, CO, 2 grandchildren, Jaxon Smiley, Ellie Smiley both of Denver, CO, his mother, Barbara "Susie" McClendon of Duncan. He is also survived by a brother, Woody McClendon of Duncan, and a sister, Melody Hale of Gordon, TX, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Clarence Woody McClendon.
