Rush Springs: Jimmy Stewart, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Duncan
Cremation has taken place at the family's request, and is under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Jimmy was born Tuesday, February 19, 1946 in Lindsay, to Coy and Arnita (Smith) Stewart. He was a graduate of Rush Springs High School and remained in the Rush Springs area all of his life. Jimmy met Vikki Crowder and they were married in 1975 in Rush Springs, and they celebrated 45 years of marriage. Jimmy was a proud member of the United States National Guard during Vietnam. He worked as a self employed truck driver for most of his life. Jimmy loved fishing, trains, gardening, hunting, raising birds, and he loved his dog and family more than words could ever say.
Survivors include wife, Vikki Stewart of the home, 2 sons, Jimmy Stewart JR and Ricky Jo Stewart, and 2 daughters, Lora Stewart and Michelle Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters, Dawn Ingram and Linda Stewart, 2 brothers, Steve Stewart and Johnny Stewart, and 2 sisters, Mary Gifford and Debbie Stewart.
