Obituary for Joan Lewis
Marlow: Paula Joan Lewis, 85, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in Marlow.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Joan was born Thursday, October 29, 1936 in Duncan, to JC and Floysie (Latham) Haney. She married her best friend, Noal Dean Lewis, February 14, 1983 in Texas. Joan and Noal celebrated more than 34 years of marriage together until he preceded her in death in June 2017. She lived in the Stephens County area for more than 30 years and spent her time being a homemaker. Joan's family was always the most important to her. She was the best grandmother to her grandkids and great-grandkids. Joan spent much of her time keeping up with her family. She was always the observer for any occasion such as birthdays, holidays, or condolences. Joan was an avid animal lover of all kinds and she raised exotic birds. She cherished her birds and her cat, Callie. Joan will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Garcia of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Aaron, Mathew, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Avery, Olivia, and Emerson; brother, Jamie Chris Haney; and niece, Debbie Tips.
In addition to her loving husband, Joan was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Paula RaJeania Stebelton.
