Obituary for Joe Caywood Brenneis
Duncan: Joe Caywood Brenneis, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 in Marlow, at the age of 67.
At the family's request cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and all other arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Joe was born Saturday, March 14, 1953 in Duncan, to Edward Frank and Bette Jo (Wigham) Brenneis. He lived in Duncan all of his life. Joe married the love of his life, Ula Karen Hood in Duncan in 1973; they were married for 47 years before Ula's passing on March 11, 2020. Joe worked many years in the oil and gas industry as a pumper and operator. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and just being outdoors. Joe loved spending time with his grandson as well as his family and friends that adored him. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him. Joe was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Duncan.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Travis Brenneis of Duncan, Blake Brenneis of Duncan, a grandson, Baylem Brenneis, a brother, Dan Brenneis of Oklahoma City, as well as numerous nieces and a host of great friends.
Along with his wife, Ula, Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Eddie Brenneis, Craig Brenneis.
