Obituary for Joseph Anthony Jacoby
Rush Springs: Joseph Anthony Jacoby, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Rush Springs, at the age of 71.
Graveside services will be Monday, December 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Rush Springs Cemetery with Rev. David Hale officiating. Cremation and all other arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Joseph was born Saturday, May 8, 1948 in Mapleton, IA, to Frank Earnst and Kathleen Jacoby. He lived in various places throughout his military career but resided in Rush Springs since 1986. Joseph married the love of his life, Charlotte Hale in Rush Springs on November 4, 1987; they were married for 32 wonderful years before his passing. Joseph served in the United States Army for more than 20 years; earning numerous awards. He enjoyed watching politics and working on cars as well as racing cars. Joseph liked playing the drums and enjoyed music. He liked shooting guns and video production. Joseph loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the International Brother Hood of Magicians.
Survivors include, his wife, Charlotte Jacoby of the home, 3 daughters, Alicia Jacoby and Chandra of Kansas City, Dana Stewart of Tulsa, Shannon Martin and husband Ed of Baltimore, MD and 1 step-daughter, Tiffany McCann of Chickasha. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Brittany, Daniel, Neecee, a step-grandson, Anthony, and 3 great-grandchildren, Corbin, Cadence, Daniel Jr.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents.
