Obituary for Judith Anne Osborne

Duncan: Judith Anne Judy Osborne passed from this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Lawton at the age of 68

A celebration of Judy''s Life will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 @ 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Waurika with Pastor Mike Bates officiating. Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services of Marlow.

Judy was born July 8, 1953, to Donald and Annie (Hutson) Mealy in Lawton. She and her mother, Annie went to Frankfurt Germany when she was six weeks old to meet and stay with her father. He was an Army cook there. She attended school in Frankfurt, Germany from 1963- 1966. Her family then moved back to Lawton where she finished high school and college earning an associate degree of science in nursing in 1973. Judy then moved to Waurika to work at Jefferson County Hospital as a Registered Nurse for nineteen years. During that time, she met Ted Osborne and were married December 17, 1991, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They spent two years traveling with Teds job. In 1993 she came to Comanche and started a home health agency while working at Jefferson County Hospital until 2012. She moved to West Plains Mo. to retire. She moved back to Duncan three years ago with her family allowing her to rock and spend time with her great grand babies while enjoying life. She was proceeded in death by her parents Donald and Annie Mealy, and her husband Ted Osborne. Judy enjoyed traveling the world, sewing projects, drinking coffee on the patio, cooking for an army, shopping at Walmart and being surrounded by family and friends. Judy''s most precious and favorite time was spending time with her grand and great grandbabies. She was a Godly woman and enjoyed listening to Christian music her most favorite was the Gaithers. Her influence in the many lives of those she touched will forever be missed. She is survived by her two daughters, Gina Patrom and husband Tony of Stratford and Mollye Tribbey and husband Adam of Marlow she had five grandchildren T. J. Fugett and wife Alana, Hollie Kautzman and husband David, Ashley Fugett, Greg Fugett and Hannah Harper and husband Brain of Jacksonville. She was also survived by her eight great grandchildren- Karlye, Britton, Averie, Ted, Teejay, Grace, Lydia and Gunnar. She has one brother, Don Mealy and wife Susan of West Plains, Mo. and their son Alex. She is also survived by her best and lifelong friend, Mary Burden. And too many to list.
