Marlow, OK: Former Midland area resident Kattie Emma White passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 in Marlow, OK. She was 87.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 23 at Resthaven Memorial Park, with Rev. Butterfield officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow, OK.

Kattie was born Monday, February 16, 1931 in Roscoe, TX, to Newell O. and Jewel M. (Garrett) Allen. She was raised in the Roscoe area and attended school at Roscoe and Stanton. She had lived most of her life in the Midland area until moving to Oklahoma two years ago. Kattie had been married to Burl N. White for many years until he preceded her in death. She loved to travel and never missed an opportunity to see new places. She had numerous interests, but taking care of her children, grandchildren and her great grandchidren was her greatest joy. She loved nothing more than to travel back and forth between their homes for a visit.

Kattie was a women with a loving heart and will be greatly missed.

Her survivors include 4 sons, Burk McCurdy of Elk City, OK, Jacky & wife Jovanna White of Byers, OK, Joe & wife Karen White of Weatherford, OK, Flenoy Broomfield of Shattuck, OK; 1 daughter, Elizabeth Broomfield of Oklahoma City, OK, 14 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, brother, Mickey & wife Nancy Allen of Ft. Worth, TX

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Aaron Broomfield, and Mike White; her brother, Newell "Sonny" Allen and her sister, Imogene Harold.
