Obituary for Kenneth Floyd Douglas

Marlow: Kenneth Floyd Douglas, 79, went to walk with his Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Central High Baptist Church, with Sam Buzzard officiating. Burial will be in the Denton Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Visitation for Kenneth will be at the funeral home on Thursday, April 27, 12:00-8:30 PM and Friday, April 28, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Kenneth was born Tuesday, February 8, 1944, in Altus, to Floyd and Lena Sue (Miller) Douglas. He was a graduate of Altus High School. After graduation, he spent time serving as a proud member of the United States Navy. During his time in the Navy, Kenneth was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and The National Defense Service Medal. He married Vickie Williams on December 21, 1991. Kenneth and Vickie celebrated 31 years of marriage together. He lived most of his life in Central High and worked for Goodyear as a maintenance tech. He enjoyed hunting, watching the races, and attending all Central High sporting events. Kenneth loved his family the most and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie of the home, 2 daughters, Dana Knapp and husband Jonathon of Central High, and Heather Lee and husband Timothy of Lawton, 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Mark, Aubrey, Alison, and Amery, sister, Elaine Turner of Choctaw, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be the members of Kenneth's Sunday School Class.
