Coach was the utmost professional. He always cared for each individual in his care. In the seventh or eighth grade, he was trying to show a student how to pole vault. With little success in showing the student how to put the pole in the slide, or whatever it is called, he finally had to show the student the proper means to place the pole with a lot of laughter from the other students. His sense of humor was amazing. You will always be loved by your students as well as myself. Jerry Wakefield
